Information on textile donation
What should I not donate?
MOOT’s mission is textile upcycling. Therefore, MOOT does not accept stuffed animals, accessories, furniture, cosmetics, or your cat. Please also refrain from donating soiled or damaged textiles.
What happens to my donation?
Your donated textiles arrive at the partner sorting facility ALTA WEST GmbH in the Krayenberg municipality in the heart of Germany. There, your donations are inspected and sorted. Textiles suitable for upcycling products are checked, cleaned, and ultimately sewn into new MOOT garments. The rest is recycled by MOOT’s partner, the Boer Group.
