What shouldn’t I donate?
MOOT’s mission is textile upcycling. Therefore, MOOT cannot accept stuffed animals, accessories, furniture, cosmetics, or your cat. You should also not donate soiled or damaged textiles.
What happens to my donation?
Your donated textiles are sent to our partner sorting facility, ALTA WEST GmbH, in Krayenberg, in the heart of Germany. There, your donations are inspected and sorted. Textiles suitable for upcycling products are checked, cleaned, and ultimately sewn into new MOOT garments. The rest is recycled by MOOT’s partner, the Boer Group.
